Why I hate Sherman!

Sherman was, is, and will be forever a war criminal. He killed civilians like animals and impoverished untold thousands. He even owned slaves. I am ashamed that a person of my ancestry would burn down all of those buildings. Sherman was an absolute putz. He did not win any big Napoleonic style battles with superior tactics and skilled maneuvering, he faced an army made of little boys and old men that had little food or amunition and was dressed in rags. Remember the Civil War was not about slavery. If it were both Grant and Sherman would not have had slaves.
